Chrystal Rivera, LCSW | Therapist | Board Approved Supervisor
Chrystal Rivera is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and founder of Reset Counseling LLC. With over 15 years of experience in mental health, Chrystal specializes in supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, and depression. She earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and has extensive mental health experience in early childhood, substance use, addictions, and child welfare.
Chrystal understands that parenting can activate unresolved trauma, emotional overwhelm, and self doubt. Her therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental, offering a safe space where parents can feel understood and supported. She meets clients at their own pace, helping them build insight, resilience, and meaningful change without pressure to have everything figured out.
After becoming a mother herself, Chrystal’s passion for this work deepened. She is committed to helping parents break generational trauma, reduce mental health stigma, and develop emotionally connected, confident parenting practices. Her work focuses on both symptom relief and long-term healing, strengthening the relationship parents have with their children and themselves.
Chrystal uses evidence based, trauma informed therapy approaches tailored to each client’s strengths and goals. She specializes in trauma therapy, anxiety treatment, and depression treatment and is deeply committed to helping individuals feel supported, empowered, and capable of lasting change.
Sandra Fernandez, LCSW | Therapist
Sandra is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 25 years of clinical experience serving children, adolescents, and families in Guam and Nevada. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work, and has extensive experience across a wide range of mental health settings, including psychiatric case management, group homes, inpatient psychiatric care, and crisis intervention services.
As an individual and family therapist, Sandra specializes in parent coaching, family systems therapy, and trauma informed care. She helps parents understand how stress, trauma, and emotional triggers can impact family dynamics and children’s emotional regulation, behavior, and attachment. Sandra partners with caregivers to develop practical, evidence based strategies for creating calm and structured home environments, improving parent child communication, and strengthening secure attachment.
Sandra uses an integrative therapeutic approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Conscious Discipline, Play Therapy, and Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). These modalities support parents in building emotional awareness, managing behavioral challenges, increasing empathy, and fostering emotional safety and resilience within the family system.
Sandra is deeply committed to supporting parents and caregivers through healing and growth. She believes that when parents feel confident, regulated, and supported, children are better able to thrive emotionally and behaviorally. Her work focuses on empowering families with the tools and resources needed to create lasting, positive change.
